There is something called too much art.
In my last blog, I talked about the various responses I got on an online survey of 50 people (and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, click here), asking them who they preferred out of Van Gogh and Picasso, and why. Then I proceeded to try deciphering the causes related to their popularity and how there was a stark constrast between the two.
In this blog, I’m taking the findings of the survey a step forward. I’ll be bringing up Vincent Van Gogh’s story once again. We have now established that, he didn’t like to sell his products. More accurately, he was extremely demotivated towards selling his paintings (remember he sold only one painting his entire life and died a pauper as opposed to Picasso’s million-dollar estate?).
